Blood analysis :

The most important analyses are those which test the woman’s ovulation capacity (FSH, LH, prolactine, estradiol).

Ultrasound Scan :

The vaginal ultrasound gives us important data about the uterus, endometrium and ovary environment.

Ovulation Study : Hysterosalpingogram :
Ovulation Study :
  • Basal temperature test.
  • Hormonal study.
  • This is an x-ray in which it is necessary to inject radiographic contrast (dye) to see the inner morphology of the uterus and the permeability of the fallopian tubes.

    Endometrium Study :

    It is not an essential test. An ultrasound, biopsy and hormonal determination are carried out

    Postcoital Test :

    It is not an essential test. It tests compatibility between the cervical mucus and sperm.

    Laparoscopy :

    It is used to determine the aspect of the uterine body surface, fallopian tubes and the possible existence of adhesions or endometriosis. This test complements the HSG (hysterosalpingogram).

    Hysteroscopy :

    It provides a direct view of the uterine cavity and consequently anomalies such as polyps, fibroids (myomas), adhesions, septum (abnormal partition or band of tissue in the uterus) may be diagnosed and subsequently treated.
