4D ultrasound scanner :
|
Biogest, in striving to incorporate new technology for the treatment of our patients, offers you the possibility of 3D ultrasound scans. This gives us a volumetric ultrasound image in real time, providing us with a photographic representation of the human foetus within the uterus.
We can take the ultrasound any time during the pregnancy, but most spectacular images are obtained between 28 and 35 weeks of gestation.

In 1994 the 3D ultrasound starts to be used. Although in the beginning it resulted to be a tedious and extremely demanding technique, nowadays well-defined images are easily taken in a few seconds thanks to new software technology.
Based on the historical evolution of the process we are convinced that ultrasound technological advances will provide all ecographers with this system in a short time.

The objective of a volumetric ultrasound exploration is to obtain a photographic representation of the foetus inside the uterus. 3D is a new technology emerging with great intensity, strength and potential in the fields of obstetrics and gynaecology.
The viewing of a volumetric image opens a lot of possibilities for the future, and will definitely revolutionize our medical specialty, mainly contributing to the diagnosis of foetal malformations.
